VOLO Build NZ is an offsite manufactured building company that uses innovative techniques to build homes and structures. They are then shipped from our factory in Australia ready to be installed on any terrain in New Zealand. With over half our core team being Kiwis, we’re genuinely motivated to use our unique product to provide more homes and premises for the people of Aotearoa.

What is offsite manufactured, or modular?

It’s a building that consists of components made in advance in a warehouse, rather than a traditional structure assembled piece by piece onsite. More advanced than kitsets or flatpacks, each offsite manufactured component comes complete with all internal fixtures and fittings like wall linings, wiring, ceilings, windows and doors installed.

They’re often also called modular builds because they consist of sections, or modules, which are constructed separately then installed together onsite to create the final building. We build all structures to local building codes and regulations, and thoroughly inspect every aspect before it leaves the factory and once it’s installed onsite.

Residential

Mobil Service Stations

We’re helping Mobil get durable, easily transported service stations and carwash facilities rolled out across the globe. Our first unit was shipped from our Queensland, Australia factory and safely delivered and installed in Fiji in early 2022.

Radisson Hotel

A contemporary hotel in Brisbane, Australia at 10 storeys high this will be VOLO’s ‘tallest’ build and includes a number of sustainable construction solutions.

Offsite manufactured building is an effective solution to provide cost-effective, quality homes and structures in less time than traditional methods. Our innovative product has delivered residential and commercial projects to many happy customers.

Vue Eco Village

This sophisticated, sustainable living community has seen us using eco-friendly building approaches to deliver 218 residential dwellings in Goonellabah, New South Wales, Australia. VOLO is able to build each home to 90% completion before it arrives onsite at the Eco Village, helping to speed up the process of development. Because the way we build our homes is more sustainable than traditional building, this aligns with the Eco Village’s sustainable vision.
